Meet Marc Luis: The Coach Whose CV Books Clients

A sports coach's CV turned into a living portfolio: client results with numbers, a coaching reel that plays, socials built in, and a booking widget that fills his calendar while he trains.

Meet Marc Luis: The Coach Whose CV Books Clients

Meet Marc Luis

Here's the gap in every coach's CV: it lists gyms and years, but it can't answer the only question a new client has — will this work for me?

The proof that you coach well lives in other people's bodies: the athlete on the podium, the member who stopped getting injured, the roster that fills itself with referrals. None of that fits in a bullet point. And the PDF certainly can't book the trial session while you're on the gym floor.

So let's look at the opposite of that. marc.portiqo.app is a demo portfolio we built with Portiqo for a fictional sports coach, Marc Luis. Everything you're about to see is something your CV could be doing tomorrow.

The first screen does the introduction

No wall of text. A name, a title — Sports Coach — and a promise: "Strength, conditioning and performance coaching for athletes of every level." An availability badge, Paris on the map, a Hire-me button that opens a mail draft.

Around it, the blocks of a real introduction — his specialities, his career, his degree — arranged exactly how he wants with the drag-and-drop builder. A prospect lands, orients in seconds, and knows within one screen who they'd be trusting with their season.

Results, not responsibilities

Scroll to Marc's Proof of Work and the CV line "8+ years coaching" turns into outcomes:

  • 40 weekly clients as Head S&C Coach at Performance Studio Paris — and 30% fewer training injuries across his roster.
  • 25 competitive athletes coached, 3 national championship medals from his years at Racing Club Athletics.
  • 100 members onboarded in his foundation years — the floor work every good coach has and no CV credits.

Notice what's happening: every claim carries a number. That's the difference between asserting you get results and showing them. Your CV has these facts in it too. It just buries them.

A reel that actually plays

For a coach, movement is the argument. So his plays right on the page — a YouTube widget with coaching demonstrations, no download, no "see attachment." Next to it, a gallery pulls training-floor stills into the scroll, and his Instagram lives on the page as a widget: @coach.marc, one glance from the numbers that make following mean something.

The work isn't described. It's there.

Sessions book themselves

See the booking widget? A prospect who's interested doesn't extract an email address and draft a message. They pick a slot. Marc comes off the floor to a booked trial session instead of a cold inbox.

Multiply that by every athlete, parent, and gym-goer who ever meant to ask about coaching and didn't quite get around to it.

"Ask me anything" — and something answers

Marc's page has one more resident: his personal AI agent. "Hi there! Ask me anything about my work, projects and experience."

A prospect browsing at 11 p.m. can ask what they'd ask on a discovery call: Does he work with beginners? Marathon prep? What's his approach to injury prevention? The agent answers from his real experience — the specialities, the results, the timeline above — because it's grounded in his actual CV, not improvising.

And on Marc's side, the dashboard shows what people asked. When five prospects in a row probe the same concern, that's not friction. That's content for his next Reel.

From paper to alive

marc-full-desktop.png Look at what Marc's CV became: a page with a voice, results with numbers, a reel that plays, bookings on autopilot, and an agent that represents him at 2 a.m.

Now open your CV and count what it can do. Turn pages.

Your coaching deserves the same upgrade. Claim your URL — your-name.portiqo.app — and turn your experience into a portfolio that fills your calendar while you train.
