The difference
Every Portiqo portfolio ships with an AI portfolio agent — an assistant that lives on your site and answers recruiters' questions for you.
It is built from the CV you upload, so it knows your experience, skills and projects. When a recruiter asks at midnight whether you have shipped production firmware, it answers in seconds and cites your portfolio — never anything else.
4minaverage visit to a Portiqo portfolio
Do recruiters actually look at portfolio websites? We let our own tracking answer. Across portfolios published on Portiqo, a visit lasts about four minutes — long enough to scroll the sections, open a project and ask the agent a question or two. A PDF rarely gets that.

What people ask before claiming an address.
It is a tool that builds a portfolio website for you from information you already have, usually your CV. Instead of writing pages and designing a layout from scratch, you upload the document: the AI extracts your experience, skills and projects and arranges them into a site you can edit and publish. Portiqo works this way, and adds an AI assistant that answers visitors using only your profile.
With Portiqo it takes five steps. 1. Upload your CV as a PDF or Word file, or a LinkedIn "Save to PDF" export. 2. The AI reads it and fills in your experience, skills, education and projects, so there is nothing to retype. 3. Pick a design and add what a CV cannot hold: projects, a gallery, a video or your GitHub activity. 4. Publish on your-name.portiqo.app, or on your own domain with Pro. 5. Your AI assistant goes live with the site and answers visitors' questions using only your profile.
Minutes, not days. The five steps take: 1. Upload your CV — under a minute. 2. The AI reads it and builds your first portfolio — about a minute. 3. Pick a design and adjust your sections — two to three minutes, or skip this and keep the AI's layout. 4. Publish — one click and your site is live on your-name.portiqo.app. 5. Your AI assistant goes live with it — immediately. Most portfolios are online in under ten minutes; keep the AI's first draft and you are closer to five.
The AI reads the CV you upload to understand your skills, experience and achievements. It then uses only that knowledge to answer recruiters in real time, like a personal representative available around the clock.
An AI portfolio agent is an assistant that lives on your portfolio website and answers visitors' questions on your behalf. Portiqo builds it from the CV you upload, so it knows your experience, skills and projects. A recruiter can ask whether you have shipped production firmware or worked with a specific stack; the agent replies in seconds using only what your portfolio states — it will not invent facts — and it is available around the clock. Every question it receives appears in your analytics, so you can see what recruiters care about.

The honest answer: we can only speak for the visits Portiqo tracks — and they run deeper than most people expect. Across portfolios published on Portiqo, the average visit lasts about four minutes (Portiqo analytics, GA4, trailing 90 days as of October 2026): long enough to read several sections, open a project and ask the on-page agent questions. Recruiters still ask for CVs, and you should keep yours — but when someone opens your portfolio, they engage with it. And unlike a PDF, the portfolio shows you every visit.
They do not choose one over the other; they use both for different jobs. Applications and applicant tracking systems still ask for a CV, so keep it. A portfolio shows what the CV can only claim: live projects, links, images and video, and an AI assistant that answers a recruiter's questions at any hour. It also tells you who viewed it and what they asked, which a PDF never will. The usual approach is to send the CV and put your portfolio link at the top of it and on your LinkedIn profile.
